I happened to looking right at a Meeroo when I heard a little chiming tinkling sort of noise. I looked around and there was a broken pipe. I clicked on it, and nothing happened, other than it vanishing. It's been over ten minutes, so I would think if it was lag, it would have showed up by now.

On a related note, seems I heard this random gift giving was "tweaked" in yesterday's chat, I believe. Since reading that, it seems to me that my Meeroos are barely giving me anything now, maybe 1 or 2 a day. I had previously gotten a bit more than that.
