What I would like to see would be if the Meeroos and other objects would use the "llGetDisplayName" or "llRequestDisplayName" functions instead of using the lagacy name.

Display names are obviously here to stay, and a lot of people use them. I know several people who have adopted a Display Name and simply don't respond to their Legacy Name, because their 'identity' has changed, and they do not feel they are that person any more.

Whether an individual likes the names or not, it is their choice to use it or not use it. Unfortunately, most scripted objects in SL take away that choice. Would be really neat if the Meeroos could be among the first to call people what they really want to be called.
