Over the past 12 hours, we've been notified of an uncomfortable amount of non-deliveries of products (Not just ours!) and items disappearing when picked up, attached or dropped. Apparently, unbeknownst to us, this has been an ongoing issue in Second Life for roughly the past week.
We don't want you to lose your content, so we're asking to to temporarily refrain from holding your Meeroos until linden Lab has the opportunity to look into this issue. Please know, we will return every single Meeroo that is lost to Second Life's server malfunctions, as well as items not delivered due to it's unfortunate performance. We apologize for the inconvenience this has caused some of you, and if the Linden Lab's asset server were in our hands, we'd fix it immediately, alas, it is not.
But you are not powerless, and if you want to help your community, as well as the creators of the content you enjoy, please, on top of submitting us your trouble ticket, we encourage you to also submit a ticket to Linden Lab to let them know their asset server is malfunctioning. We've done this and are hoping you will lend your voice to the cause of improving asset server reliability so that it performs as intended.
If you have an issue with non-deliveries, please send a NOTECARD to Meeroos Resident containing the following information:
Your SL Name:
Items Lost:
Transaction Details:
Describe how it happened:
We will definitely address every report of lost content, but I urge you to remember that we currently have 7 CSR's on at different times of the day, and there are over 5,000 of you. Each on of you is equally important to us, and already they've invested upwards of 15 hours addressing issues of lost content on a case by case basis. They may not get to your immediately, but the CSR benchmark is to address every concern with 24 hours of receipt. So bear with us during this period and on behalf of yourself and your content, be proactive and also report these instances, every one of them, to Linden Lab by going to this link!
https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/VWR-25840
And vote for the Jira.
We thank you for the support and hope that Linden Lab recognized the vital nature of this action and improves it for all users of Second Life.
