I realize 2012 has been a long agonizing wait, but I'm glad to finally be able to give you a meaningful update! We have officially begun our final phase of testing on the next update, which will include fixes to your existing diurnal Meeroos (most notably sim idling woes) and a few extra surprises for the upcoming Nocturnals release.
This will be a mandatory update and it didn't make sense to do one for the Diurnals and then just weeks later push out another for the Nocturnals, so it's all rolled into one.
I know you're all screaming for dates still, but I can safely say we are nearing the point of pre-orders. We have officially entered code freeze for the scripts and the art assets are ~95% done. We just need to make sure everything is polished now. I've never felt right about taking pre-order money without knowing launch was imminent. As bad as waiting for a product launch is, its only worse if you're waiting while they have your money!
Keep tuned to our blog, while I know its been bleak for awhile now, you can expect a flurry of information in the next few weeks. What to watch for (not necc in this order): new V3.0 Script Update, new V3.0 HUD, new level cap and regard scaling goes into effect, Nocturnal pre-orders with a *very* special gift will go live, and finally Nocturnals will go live!
Thank you all for your undying patience, we've put a lot of blood, sweat, and tears into this project this year and are just as anxious to get it into your hands as you are to get it!
ADDENDUM: This testing is an internal test, there is not going to be a public beta test of the Nocturnals.
