Growing Our Own Food:
Have the roos Dig up Seeds for their food type, The Seeds When Planted in a Garden Bed (Sold by you) watered (Give for Free) and Fertilized (Sold by you) would provide that type of food.
Basically you can sell Fertilizer and allow that to determine how much food the seeds produce. The grown food spoils and delete's itself after it's time value runs out whether eaten or not. The seeds only determine the type of food grown. The fertilizer determines the amount of food grown. The meeroos can supply the seeds free as a treasure once the player reaches level 25.
The growing bed can also be a mini game if people don't want to buy it or find it to expensive. Meeroos can dig up a hand shovel, hoe, planter, water bucket.
The seeds should take 7 days to mature and be harvest-able.

Collectibles:
The roos can dig up items that go into a collection once you complete the collection you can rez them all and click on one to turn it into a bundle and turn in the bundle to get a useful item Wee-Mee perhaps or something along it's lines. Have one VERY RARE collection that'll get you a pet that'll gather your treasures for you.

Puzzles:
You guys were doing great puzzles before continue do slightly simpler puzzles that once solved could give you a once a month free food or battery from the roo store. Or have the puzzles unlock new coats and traits for those who solve them. The new traits would only be breedable by those who solve their corresponding puzzles. however roos with those traits can be traded and or sold but wont pass their special traits unless the owner solves the right puzzles.
Clues to the puzzles can be dug up as treasures, and or found on structures around the roo sim and their affiliates sims.
These are just a couple ideas off the top of my head that should help keep people interested in the game and generate some extra revenue.
