Suggestion: Treasures

Perhaps Twine's picture

The meeroos dig up treasures that are region related and also those that are seasonal. What I noticed though is, that the seasonal treasures have a religious base. So I was wondering why they only represent one religion, although this doesn't make much sense, as they come from all regions in the world.

Somehow the whole meeroo-game has some educational character to me, be it the mendel genetics or looking up certain words and their meaning, like coat names and so on. Last example was the St RooRick (St Patrick) stuff that made me wonder, as I had no clue why people would celebrate it. To find out that in USA even the rivers get coloured in green, was new to me and so I would say I learned something new ;).

There are though lots of other religious and worldly celebration days and times and I wonder why we do not get to see those? Like the Tanabata or Sakura-Tree period. Or what about Ramadan and its sugar party afterwards? You reach a lot of people with your meeroos and things like world AIDS day or cancer awareness could be worth a treasure as well.

I'm not religious at all, so Im basically happy with rotten bananas i put in my tin cans, but would definitely like to see a more spread out seasonal treasures than only those that belong to one religious group.
