I just love the Goldleafs out of all of the Nile coats I've been breeding lately. My first SUE Goldleaf came from a fluke pairing of a Phantom & Goldleaf OS from another breeder. I tried to create the same system for my Phantom & Goldleaf couple and always ended up with Sapphires which I think they are cool, but i'm not really a fan of those. So I tried another experiment with a Normal Goldleaf and a Spirit and ended up with Goldleafs which lets me know that the Spirit is recessive to a Goldleaf. I'm still trying to figure out which coat to breed the Phantom with to produce me more Goldleafs since those 2 (Phantom & Goldleaf) always mutates a Sapphire coat offspring...
