I've been pondering whether or not to write this, and after seen two comments in the "v2.0 update" blog on the main page and after a discussion in the chat, here it is.
First, thank you Malevay for your hard work and creating a great product for us to enjoy. Also a big thanks for listening to your customer base! I've (unlike some) had the experience of creating some pretty complex programs, and there does comes times that someone brings something up that I simply didn't think of. That's how products become better!
For the most part I've seen nothing but constructive criticism, this update is a perfect example. Those of us who had suggested the possibility of having the option of sim time vs set times were put forth in what I would categorize as constructive. Then we get yahoo's who come in and tell us to "buck up buttercup". That right there is the essence of the problem! There was no complaining, no "I quit", no "omg roll back, it sucks!", I for one am very grateful for the update. However people like this is generally why I stopped participating in the forums. I realize this is beyond Malevays control, however I hope to point out to people like this that you really need to engage your brain before your fingers.
This isn't an isolated incident, it's almost a pandemic. So please, before posting something like that, think about what your typing.
Yes, NOW I'm complaining, but not about Malevay!
Food for thought (or lack there of)
