I put the word mutation between " because I'm not sure if it's the right word but I can't come up with a better one.
I got this roo this morning:

It's a Cirrus Dusty Autumn, coming from two Monsoon Clear parents. First of all, the coat surprised me as both parents (Jubilee and Snowpaw) have quite a history of different coats behind them and I didn't think they'd give me such a "low" coat. But what really amazes me, I couldn't find any Cirrus eyes back there (on a scroll through the last handfull of generations at least, I admit I haven't checked them *all*). Most of them got Monsoon eyes, there's also a lot of Indigo, but no Cirrus.
This only happened once to me, many months ago, and I also read a while ago that it happened to others. My question is, has anyone really experimented with these nests, where the offspring of two same colored clear eyed parents had a different eye color?
