Let me say thank you to everyone for your support for Randy and our family at this time, it means so much to us thank yous just dont seem to be enough. Now to touch on a subject I have heard many times and try to stay away from because just the thought of the accident brings me to tears, I have yet to read the entire newspaper article, the "helmet" Had Randy have been wearing a helmet he would no longer have been with us as the weight of the helmet would have caused internal decapitation. Helmets are not a save all and I think people need to understand that, trust me I would get so angry when he would ride without a helmet until the day the Dr. told us it would have in fact ended his life. Our hopes were very grim at the begining and each day he fights to stay with us...Love, Prayers and the good Lord are in charge of that. So please understand a helmet does not mean you will survive. Again to my roo family, you have touched our hearts in ways you can not imagine and when he is able to understand he will be as humbled and I am.
