Meroo runaway/rip off

I am writing this to say I think meroos are great in most respects. How ever my love had a pair and due too real life reason had them in her inventory until we was able to ,move into a new plot of land in sl. After 6 days she put them down and they ran away. Now you want us to buy whistles to get them back? When held in inventory they should be inactive as there are times when real life prevents us from dealing with Second life issues. I know this may seam like an odd question but is this set up as a way to get more money? If so I’m sorry to say making some one pay twice for the same object seams pretty much like a scam. Other than this I love them but I doubt id boy any more because of this issue. If there is a way to make them inactive that should have been better explained. Again great idea but tossing in these little loop holes tears it down
