I was gifted a lovely pair of Koi/Fluff line OS, both wine coats with non-Koi parents, the male with the Fluff visible and the female without it. They've got some closeish related (niece or some such) fellows that are awesome - emp fluff that had an azure baby, etc. They've given me 2 or 3 direct fluffy babies and no koi. A few of the OS I've traded to other people trying to bring koi fluff out in their lines, and they've bred them for the koi and not the fluff and managed to get the koi to pop back up again.

This is their first Koi nest (no fluff, sadly! But that's okay!!!) they've given and it's their 10th nest. It really made me smile to see it!

So yeah. After being into kind of a slump because I was having more trouble getting the pieces for my next cycle of breedings lined up, logging onto that this morning was a real treat.

Now if only their last two nests would throw me some Koi/Fluff or maybe Koi/LM if I'm lucky ;)
