Heard there was a Meet and Greet with Allison and Levio last night, in-world, at a 3rd party auction house, no less.
Uhh, what? I see no notice in the WWoM group announcing it and thus far no blog post.
I hope someone has a transcript that gets posted. And I hope these things are announced to the general Meeroo public, in advance next time. And I hope they will occur at a neutral location in the future.
But mostly I'd like to know what did I miss?
Ohhh, now a CSR tells me it was set up and advertised by that auction house. How very neutral of MS. Group notices went out to the members of that auction house, but not by MS.
Everyone was welcome, but not everyone was notified, and certainly not everyone was actually invited.
I'm not knocking that business who was lucky enough to have MS presence attend their function, but I think it's pretty stinky feeling like the fat kid who wasn't picked for the dodgeball team.
I think it's wholly inappropriate for MS to attend and participate without also notifying THEIR members at the very least.
And now a certain authority at that auction house just said she didn't want to "spam it out" in the WWoM group chat which is why it wasn't *cough* advertised there. But of course everyone's talking about it there now!
Seriously?!
Are you guys gonna go on a concert tour and help other business build traffic and get exposure now, too? Like the whole "Community Spotlight" thing that has focused on what...two whole people since May?
I don't own any Meeroo-related business or enterprise nor am affiliated with any such endeavour, nor am I against that auction (and education?) facility at all, either, so this is not sour grapes talking. It's about image.
And right now I'm a bit dismayed at the lack of forethought I feel MS showed in agreeing to participate in what is essentially an elite Meet and Greet/QA session.
Sad,
