I'm only a small time breeder and only managed to get my first sierra back when the database was attacked.

Around 30 days ago I purchased a cinder because I wanted new blood and because she was affordable to me - with her coat and SUE she is very cute! To mate with her I bought an autumn with clear eyes(thinking at the time it was a sierra haha but that's another story!).

The two of them have had a few nests together and last night before I logged they had popped out another to which at first glance I sighed and thought, thank you another red to add to my collection. I am glad I didn't release it as upon looking again today I noticed the very short tail - my first!

I've looked through the family tree and couldn't find where this may have come from. Best I could find was short tail far back in the cinder's family.

Any ideas? :)
