Our Meeroos are So Excited about their First Halloween! They've tried on their costumes. They've been scurrying around digging up treats. But what they wanted was a trip to a Haunted House. Well, that's what they said they wanted. But when the time came, only three were brave enough to actually go!
Charm dropped them off with strict instructions to be brave, but call if they became afraid and wanted to come home early.
The first thing our intrepid explorers saw was the Meeroo statues along the walls. Perhaps they thought they were real Meeroos but, after a while, they moved on.
Next, they moved to the haunted fountain. The ghosts didn't seem to bother them at all, but they spent a LONG time checking out the glowing weeds at the base.
Checking out the corners, our brave little Meeroos finally met something which got them excited .. RATS! The din which ensued was deafening! Finally, however, our little ones decided they were not going to chase off the vermin and get a closer look at the skulls to see what treasures might be found there.
When it came to the next corner, however, it was apparent there is a limit to how brave our brave ones were! This corner was still inhabited by the giant SPIDER! I swear, they played rock-paper-scissors and the loser was pushed forward to get a closer look!
Having enough excitement, our explorers did what all Trick-or-Treaters do at the end of the evening .. gathered around the goodies and ate until they fell asleep!
