My test ALT has completed its initial wave of a reboot-to-starters test.
Over the duration of this test, Charm averaged approximately 60 breeding samples. My alt began the test with a 4-pack (all males) and one compatible female starter. A string of males delayed her ramp-up to a full stump of four compatible pairs.
Comparing Charm's rate of trait production to my alt's rate, it appears a reboot to starters with a level 14/15 alt produces several times the traits, per parent, as a level 25 player with an average-sized, well-established breeding herd.
The results only include VISIBLE traits.
I have paired up the VISIBLE traits produced from this first wave. This resulted in three compatible pairings and two left-over males. So, the next wave of test samples will be three pairs. Charm and I have traded one of the traited males for a compatible traited female (highly mixed offspring from Generation 2 crossed with Generation 7).
These three pairs, and the hybrid, will be a second wave and will primarily show the rate at which traits passed from the starter males, yet hidden, will pass to the next generation.
While this is still a preliminary result, the data so far indicates that significantly higher success rates from rebooting to starters then from continuing with a lackluster, but well established, herd.
