5 days ago i coaxed 4 red nests - 2 breeding pairs - and last night they reached maturity. All of them were in season fall, but in season all the same. All the nests had been coaxed at the same time, so were all pretty much the same age given a minute or so.

I put the roos into their pairs and set them on sperate breeding stumps, with pair one giving me a nice Emperor within a minute of them being put together. The second pair, however, have gone right through season fall and now sit at 2 say wait without them breeding.

They are compatible, and shows this on their stump, they were the same age, and were both wearing theirt fellowship tag. Its the first time i have notiuced any of my meeroos not mating during a season, when they were given ample time and were on a stump of their own.

So, do Meeroos sometimes jsut get headaches and say, 'Not tonight, dear'?
