I ask this because Malevay Studios were not the only ones who were and continue to be the victims of the hackers / thieves.
Every Meeroo owner who has purchased a Meeroo or Nest in the Secondary Marketplace which was then destroyed/deleted by Malevay Studios because that Meeroo/nest turned out to be the result of a person or persons hacking the Meeroo code/database, is also victim.
Every Meeroo owner who has purchased what has turned out to be FAKE FOOD or who has paid a vendor at Roo only to find the vendor had an invisible prim or fake vendor placed over eth legitimate vendor and thus lost their money is also victim.
Also these people I am sure own many legitimate Meeroos, and buy legitimate food, stumps and other legitimate Malevay Studios products.
I know Malevay Studios are not responsible for any sales or activity in the Secondary Marketplace however not to have taken action and reported these crimes to the appropriate law enforcement agency is to my mind to show total disregard for the loss and damages suffered by your extremely loyal customer base.
I am aware you neither confirmed or denied what actions you may have or have not taken in this matter.
The problem is your reasons for not confirming you have reported these crimes has no basis in law.
So what do you say to all of your loyal customers about the losses they have incurred?
The
In reply to my questions at http://www.worldofmeeroos.com/index.php?q=node/4995 the answer I received (also at that link and not in the Answers Section, so many may not have read it) was -
"I cannot disclose what forms of action we have or have not taken against any person or persons who have committed criminal acts against us. This is an issue explicitly between that party, the legal system and the company. It's not something we can openly discuss the specifics of."
That statement is at law NOT TRUE
1. I never asked for specifics I simply asked if you had referred eth matter to the appropriate law enforcement agency and if so which one. That is not asking about the specifics of a complaint, it is simply asking has one been made.
2. A person or company can openly say if they have or have not referred a complaint to a law enforcement agency without any prejudice whatsoever to any party.
I specifically worded my question to ensure you were able to answer it.
I now wonder did anyone actually read my question or did someone merely skim over it prior to answering it?
So let me ask it again in a far more simply way, and please do not refer me to your last answer.
QUESTION 1 - Has Malvay Studios filed an official complaint concerning the extortion attempts on them and/or the substitution/placement of fake food and/or the use of fake vendors with the appropriate legal authorities?
Please simply answer YES or NO
If NO please answer the following
QUESTION 2 - Does Malvay Studios believe, by not filing an official complaint with the appropriate legal authorities (or still refusing to confirm or deny) they are acting in the best interests of and in a fair manner to their loyal customer base who have also suffered loss and damages.
