I was just curious if anyone had any theories on hints or clues that a line might contain certain traits/coats.

Say for example, you're getting a lot of curly tails, could that also possibly mean you have a good chance of canine head in the line, as both are decidedly canine traits?
Who knows, maybe great, great, great, great, great, grand daddy was a poodle. XD

I am by no means an advanced breeder yet, but I like trying to figure out of there are obvious clues that can hint at hidden genes in a family line.

I don't know if this is the case at all, as far as I know you may not be able to have any hint of hidden genes until they start appearing in the family tree.

I thought it might make an interesting topic for discussion though.
