I didn't know how best to announce this but didn't want to hijack Maxx's thread on his Snowpaw so started my own.

Some of you may remember I purchased two great grandbabies from the secondary market a few weeks ago. I paid 2k for two but they were also short tail 12.25 giants so I was never going to make a huge loss on them - I have been DESPERATE for a Koi for months and although I am breeding Cinders, Ambers, Highlands, Caledonians and 1 solitary Loch I never believed I could crack Japan without a little genetic nudge in the right direction. Well, to be exact, i couldn't live with the idea of never cracking Japan so gave it a nudge.

Technically they are Koi & Emperor great grandbabies (it's hard to locate through the web of parentage but I did check) but have only given me duds so far - Until today...

They gave me my million dollar baby.

I might breed it with it's siblings offspring. I have a run of girls atm though, I have uncoaxed Cinders with no suitable beaus.

I said I would tell people on the forums if they gave me a Koi so here it is. Yay. My breeding life is complete now.
