While on holiday we were lucky enough to have access to Second Life from the state park.
Sunday morning we woke to a message that one of our Meeroos was a duplicate and was being deleted.
We immediately filed a ticket showing the status page for our Meeroo, the location of its stump, and included the transaction history showing when and were we obtained it.
Checking to see if anything had been done with the ticket, several hours later, after the ticket had been assigned "to the proper department" we noted the Meeroo had been given to someone else. At this point there is still no answer to our ticket.
We spent the better part of a week investing in this Meeroo, feeding, petting and carefully choosing its mate. At the point it was stolen it was hours away from producing a nest for us.
Was this an error? Should we hold out hope that our stolen Meeroo will be returned? Or should we chalk this up to experience and thereafter assume any Meeroo obtained from another player is subject to being stolen at any time?
