I'm browsing around the forums, checking various sections. Checking the blog and the comments made and you know what I see?

Catherine... everywhere. To write such lengthy replies to people and to reply to each one individually must be taking a HUGE amount of time. As one of the co-founders of Meeroos you should NOT be doing this.

Slow down, stop, take a deep breath. From my perspective you look a chicken without it's head. Maybe I'm overstepping my boundings in say all of this but seriously... stop.

I know there are people in the forums asking questions, starting threads, making statements, insulting meeroos or even you. I don't care... just stop. It shouldn't even be your place to reply to them.

Deligate and get someone else to do it. Take a CSR, throw them in the forums and make it their job to reply to everybody. If someone comes up with a hard question have them ask you.

This is coming from someone who has 5 years of RL management experience. You should not be the one out here doing this. It looks like your doing all the work, when infact you should be the one working behind the scenes plotting out the next great thing for meeroos.

Everyone does not need personally attention to get their problems solved. You have how many customers? 10,000? 20,000? 30,000? Yea... some of them are gonna have to live with the fact that they won't be able to speak to you directly. Tough luck for them.

You think Bill Gates talks to his customers? You think CEO of a company talks to their customers? Hell no, they got people for that. So just stop it, please. I begging you.

Deligate, manage from afar, do your work out of the public's eye. If you need to speak it should only be for major events or problems that affect the community as a whole. Everything else.. get a PR person to do it. lol

No seriously.. consider hiring a PR person. Consider hiring some real testers. Consider hiring someone who has experience in dealing with players. Maybe an admin from one of those gaming or combat sims.

The meeroo lottery; duplicating of nests; the griefing and attacks on the website; autopetter; players with ample amounts of regard; player distrust in the functionality of regard; and god knows what else...

Most of it could've been avoided if not noticed early on if you had some of these people.

A PR person would've spotted the possible PR problems a chest lottery and auto petter would've done and advised to nip those in the butt ASAP.

Real game testers would've spotted the nest duplicating exploit, and if you had a scripter who tests things they could've spotted the autopetter problem.

And an admin from such places could've pointed out how easily players get frustrated over the smallest things. You'll hear them slander your name, drag it through the mud and do awful things to get attention. YET! When you do something good they like they remain quiet and just nod and think the world is ok.

These first few months you got a taste of what people in SL really are, it's time to distant yourself and get new people in your inner circle to help deal with the drama, troubles and management of a growing company.

But first thing's first... stop. Just stop being active in the forums, don't even reply to me! Just do what your meant to do. Run this company.
