Here is an idea......Instead of contradicting yourself over the autopetter use, saying one thing then the other. First you say you will put one out then you say you won't. You say certain people won't get in trouble using it now you say they will be banned.

Why not do away with petting for regard. Believe it or not it becomes a tedious pain in the a** after awhile. Maybe for some people that have all day long to pet meeroos its ok. But Everyone I know with meeroos doesn't say yay!!! its time to go pet my roos. They say dang I have to go pet roos now, they are not at all enthusiastic. The first week it was cool, not so much now. I know several that have left roos because of the petting for regard alone.

You say you don't have to pet? Yes we do, it is near impossible to breed out rares from starters so every little nudge is needed and even then a person is still not likely to get those rares or even not so rare traits, even when they know their roos contain certain genetics.

What will happen with people that actually pay people to pet every hour? Will they get banned too for paying people to pet? That is not in violation of the EULA, How will you discern from those players and the ones using the auto petters? Again there will be the off balance of those with money to burn as to those that don't.

I think MS would get rid of alot of stress for everyone by doing away with petting for regard. You might ban auto petters, but thats not going to stop the unfairness of the regard game when people pay others to pet every hour. Then you have a totally new problem on your hands and even more support tickets.

Not to mention the disabled that are here and the petting is difficult for them to do all the time, how fair is it to them to have to put themselves thru more pain or injury to try and keep up in a game that has been thrown off balance by others just to try and keep up.

Remove the regard from petting would solve a whole crap load of problems... it is obvious the regard game is broke. Why not just make it an even playing field for everyone to breed in. At least until the regard game can be fixed so that is not manipulated by others with money.
