Ok.. so here it is what.. 100 days meeroo? WHERES THE CELEBRATION?? Folks, its been 100 days with your awesome pixel babies!! Meh, but alot of what I hear are complaints..

Dun get me wrong, several things like the banning and stuff are valid. But its a lil discouraging that alot of the comunity is stuck on "getting that special meeroo."

Now while I would love to have that 0.0 capri clear Azure shy female.... im not fretting on not having it.

TBH, I think that alot of us have forgotten what Meeroos are and IMHO, was mostly supposed to be about. LORE! STORY! Something exotic in our second lives. They are not cats nor dogs nor horses. They dont even begin to come close. Should you take away the breeding part of meeroos, then you have something that has never been seen in SL before.

They come with more then just a "male + female=nest" type of game play.

Theres the Oracle, which a pain in my pixel butt at times she may be, is a game in itself. The whole hud with the oracles questions, with gaining and losing memebers in ships that you create, is like the tiny empires game.

Obviously, the breeding, which is like every other breedable in sl. 1+1=babies. Thats a given with breedables.

Theres the whole message that the dryads bring, that we have to figure out. Along with the alphabet and runes. Im not 100% on this, but i wouldnt be suprised if there were riddles behind those runes once we figure them out. a lil extra fun and depth.

Then you have the roos themselves. Not only are the FREAKING cute to look at.. but they seem to have an intelegence all their own. They dig up stuff, they have these cute animations and sounds. They can be petted and snuggled. They talk to you and genuienly seem to love you. Aside from what they are scripted to do, i know im not the only one in saying it seems they can actually think beyond their scripting. Can horses or bunnies or cats do that? (honestly i dunno as i never had those)

Sure its really great to get a buck here and lindens there from what the new things bring in, but really.. are we that *tries to think of the right way to put it* engrossed in the money, that when we get things like expansions or updates or new really awesome roos that we at first werent gonna get,we freak out and blast messaged of jumping ship?

Im not pointing ANY fingers at anyone, im not judgeing anyone nor how they play. I know we each play the game how we want. And that is fine, honestly. But i wanted to see if I was the only one who has this frame of mind.

Do i sell my roos? Honestly, until a few weeks ago, not really. And even now, i just got my first stall @ Jodys 2 days ago.

I appologize for my rambling, i just get a lil lost in thought with meeroos. :D I know im not the only one.. lol

But through all of my typing, I want to ask each and everyone of you who reads this... Take a moment to sit back in your chair and just -look- at your meeroos.. Take the dollar sign glasses that you have on when you look at them. listen to their sounds, watch how they act. And even interact with one another, and yourself. Allow yourself to enjoy them. And once you have, look at the thigns like expansions and dryads with those eyes now. What do you see? You might find them to be relaxing.

Erm... one more thing. I dont mean this as anything bad to those who do sale for food. Obviously its nice. And im not saying dont sale, just... dont let the sale take over your enjoyment... your experience. This is a story of lore and legend. Lets enjoy it. ((and those who worry because of paying rl bills, I would be very carefull as sl is not always a reliable source of money for rl... I advise against using meeroos or any other thing like that as main source of paying your rl.Pixels are unreliable.))
