ANSWER: The regard system has not changed on our end. It still provides everything it always has in the form of bonuses. The acquisition of it has changed on the players end with the auto-petter. It has changed how the player acts, what they achieve and automated the process of acquisition. We have to adapt to that and redeem the point of regard once again so that it is valuable. Thus far, we have not made any changes to it. We will let you know when we do.

For your other question, You can certainly continue to pet your Meeroos and will still benefit bonus wise from doing so, as well as level.
