Vaieh Darkwatch asks;
I am curious to know if the Dryad species and coats will show up in our tome details here in WWM. I notice so far they haven't but my newest Caledonian did. Also, is it possible ,perhaps in the future to purchase a small statue of the Oracle? I personally find her beautiful and wouldn't mind a small part of her watching over my lil army of meeroo love.
ANSWER: No, the dryads are a critical part of the lore and not a discoverable species. They were crafted from leaves by the Oracle herself. The difference between the Messengers and your Meeroos is that they are considered "NPC's" or Non-Playing characters. Their coats an eye are unique only to them and will never manifest in an offspring.
We debated on whether or not to allow players to have the dryads due to our previous promise of never inputting content that did not have passable genetics. That is something I maintain a very strong position on. As a previous customer myself, I felt pummeled by the onslaught of a Limited Edition or Special coming out every week, and we don't want to compete with our customers.
When the Dryads were completed they were only going to be on display, but ultimately it seemed like a true shame not to share them with our community so they could feel the story come off the page and own a part of it. This is why we made them very inexpensive, so that everyone who was interested could have one.
