Given today was "special" I'm posting numbers for today now instead of waiting until Saturday. No graph, just the numbers:

Nests produced (non-starters), past 24-hours: 15871
Net gain(loss) over 5 days ago: (689)

Estimated breeding population: 163838
Net gain(loss) over 5 days ago: (3284)
Net gain(loss) today: (1378)

Starters sold, past 24 hours: 43216

The estimated breeding population does NOT include the effect from today's starter sales. There is no way to know how many starters were coaxed today. But, in 5 to 10 days, those that were coaxes will begin producing nests. So I expect the breeding population to continue to drop for several more days before we begin to see today's sales coming on-line and can see if the Limited Edition starters have started another recovery.

The drop in breeding population today is abnormally high. This could indicate space being cleared for the Limited Edition starters sold today inadvertently released 500 parents who would have produced nests today.
