Sorry if I am misspelling things, I am not native english;)
I been studing my (and others) meeroos, and besides the fact family linage is a big factor in breeding, I also came to the conclusion there is also a hyarchy they follow.
E.g. from low to high:
Gael Coats->Fawn->Ursine->Red->Caledonia->Highland->Loch
Pine Coats->Winecoat->Autumn->Sierra->Amber->Cinder->Snowpaw
Masked Coats->Koi->Emperor->Azure->Kabuki->Sakura->Geisha
Nile Coats->xxxx->Painted->Jubilee->West.Desert->Dune ?
Savana Coats->xxx->xxxx->Zulu->Terracotta->???->???
The xx are for the fact that I believe, unless tha5t carry them already in very early breeding, as dominant gen (in starters)that they are too high to come from such meeroos.
and, yes. I know exceptons excist!!
The ?? Are for the thing is that all lines have 6 coats. So..more to be expected from the Niles and Savana. All the rest is, I think, for the new phase.
Same time, I realise a lot of coats are still open in the tome...
Now, back to the overview;
Funny thing is, that you often see e.g. a loch coming from Caledonian/Cinder while the cinder is not the same Species. I think that is not a factor. I think the spieces/coats all have a certain factor, and when you breed e.g. a high end OS (like, a kubiku OS) and breed it with an other high end meeroo, or even higher in this scheme, you can get a nice surprise OR the one where it was an OS from. I hope I make sense.
The other way it also works with e.g. traits:
Hairs:Normal-> fluff-> long manes
Ears: Normal-> short upright->Notched/button-> ???
When breeding (my expierence) a button OS normal hair with a long mane normal ears, I got a fluff uprught ear. SO, it went one step lower on the hyarchy, since they didnt both had special genes on the traits as hair and ears.
