So for all of you who don't know how eye genetics work yet, or lets say "seem to work" yet, I will explain easily how they work.
As you know, The Mother passes on its eyes to its baby almost every time. If you look at your Meeroo you will see that it usually has the same eye color as its Mother, but what if it don't?
What if the baby Meeroo don't have its mother or fathers eyes? Well... It comes from it's Grand dad on its mothers side...........
Easy example..... We have a Male Meeroo that is mating with a Female Meeoo, the Male Meeroo has Capri eyes, the female has Flare, well.... Their baby will be flare....... When that baby mates it will have flare or capri if its a female, and if its a male then it would just have capri.
When you see a Meeroo who don't have its parents eyes, look at its mom, and look at her fathers eyes, because then it should have the same as its grand father, and in some cases meeroos can have their great great grand dads eyes.......
Here is a little chart I made of some of my meeroos.

You may have to use the Snipping tool if you have windows, or just feel free to Im me in world for the chart because its a little hard to see on flickr, even when clicking the pic to enlarge it.
Also anything I left out, feel free to explain here=]
