Havoc, meyhem, and the falling sky - aka Meeroos Anonymous

I am going to start this post with a group hug (everybody pile in). We are ALL frustrated and annoyed, inconvenienced and cross. Please try to remember everyone that Team Meeroo is probably JUST as beleaguered, more so since there way more of us than there are of them. Thus far in the game their support has been exemplary and I expect they will continue to support us as best they can.

That said. Everybody, please, for the love of Pete, step back and relax, no demands, no incessant clicking and bickering in the chat groups, it's totally counterproductive. There are only so many CSRs and so much of Levio and Catherine to go around. I am 100% certain they will give their all to get us all sorted back out as soon as they are able.

So, I would like to convene an INTERVENTION (LOL) and start the first Meeroos Anonymous thread. Come on in, introduce yourself, put your feet up in your fluffy bunny (or meeroo) slippers and take a load off.

And if you just have to be doing something or you will burst... download the spreadsheets of your roos. They can be reached by clicking the you tab on the hud and then the blue button top left. That takes you to the page about you, and you can click the download links there. These files only appear to be opened by excel (even google docs doesnt seem to open them for some reason). Save it out, even if you dont have excel, you can always send it to a friend later and have them save it as a tab or csv format that you can open in something else.

Why the spreadsheet? Well, in the coming days, it probably makes sense to do a full inventory of your roos. You can check the "baby ready" bad nests and mark the parents - you will need to file a ticket to have those fixed. You can make a list of the affected pairs and just make ONE SINGLE ticket with them all in it, to help keep the system from getting too clogged.

If you are in possession of any roos that are having a heap-stack error (and sadly are getting hungry) they are unclickable and cant be rebuilt from the stump - those will need a ticket too. Again, you can file a single ticket on them doesnt need to be one ticket per roo. I have been assured by a CSR that any roos that poof can be returned so just keep track of them and dont freak out.

And while you have that spreadsheet you can have a look at your roos, maybe figure out who to match to whom the next round (if you just cant stop obsessing over your babies of course heheheh). If you havent tried it, it can be very interesting to sort your roos by this trait and that and see who you might try together.

A few things to know from the spreadsheet - status 0 means nest, status 1 is live, status 2 is released (those are in a separate sheet though). I find it really helpful to replace "normal" and "fluff only" with nothing so that those columns only have something in them if they are interesting. Sorting by age lets you see who is reaching retirement and who you may need to meepet or release. There are all sorts of geeky things you can do in there. :-D

Most of all... Just realize the world isn't perfect, life isn't fair, and computer systems have fail points. So buck up, put your best smile on and if you cant get away from your computer and your roos, join the intervention and or the spreadsheet crowd. *smiles*
