I posted this elsewhere, deep in another thread. I am posting it again to open discussion on the subject.
Replacing a failed nest with a live is unfair to players.
It insists that the players accept all costs involved (prims, food, labor, etc.) for a failure in the nest birthing sequence.
Players should have the right to determine when they are ready to accept those costs and should not have that decision taken away from them.
Until this problem is corrected, I suggest all CSRs should ask the player before replacing a failed nest with a live. If the player chooses to not accept the live, the CSR should leave the failed nest intact and leave the ticket open/pending player response, so that the players can notify the CSR team when they are ready to accept the live Meeroo.
