I am far from a computer expert, but I have to believe that the Malevay servers are under attack right now and I imagine the attackers have set up a script that sends a query (or queries) to the server every second or so, causing it to become overloaded. Well guess what... every time one of us clicks on the link to download our spread sheet... just to check and see if the problem is fixed yet... it adds one more query to the list. I would guess that the same thing happens every time someone pets a meeroo or answers an Oracle question. Ditto with trying to rezz or move a meeroo and connect it to a stump.
I suggest we all take a little vacation from our meeroos for a day or so. Make sure they have food... but that's it. Detach the Meeroo HUD (I know it will feel weird... but you can do it!) and stay off the web site, and if you have one of those pirated auto-petters shut it off. Give the servers a chance to recover as quick as they can.
I really doubt many people will take my advice... it's kind of like asking people to remove their Misty Tool or (god forbid) their AO at a crowded event to help cut down on lag. Everyone thinks it's a great idea but they just figure other people will do it so they don't have to. But anyway... I just thought I would throw the ideas out there.
