Be advised there is evidence that some are exploiting Meeroos to produce 'rare' traits.
Prior to making a purchase, you should:
1) Check the parents, and up the family tree a few levels.
2) Look for starters with sequence numbers greater than 625,000 with 'rare' coats. These are *not* supposed to be possible.
3) Look for a sudden spurt of nests. Often, one or both of the parents will have ages which are too young to have produced the nests.
4) Look for runs of nests from parents(s) which are:
a) less than 4 days apart. Some are appearing a little as seven minutes following the previous nest from the same parents. If they are still in the nest and appear too close, investigate further.
b) have sequence numbers less than about 25,000 apart. At the rate numbers are handed out, it should be impossible for siblings to have close numbers. If the numbers look too close together, investigate deeper.
c) count nests at 5-days-per-nest. If the parent's ages are significantly less than the total, investigate deeper.
PLEASE .. be aware that it *is* possible to innocently obtain a second nest. In most cases, when that occurs, one of the nests will quietly disappear.
This advisory is about long runs (typically 6 to 8) of nests, typically very high-priced 'rare' coats, appearing.
If you note what might be a problem: DO NOT ACCUSE. File a ticket requesting investigation. It is NOT your place to attempt to correct the problem .. report it and move on.
