please dont be flaming on this thread! think before posting :)
why have the roos been created?
this is why they were created, to stand out from the rest of the stack em up and let them become cloned bits. to form new friendships and put some fun back into sl.
why do we pet?
snuggle and feed, try to pair?
for the betterment of our roos.
along comes "auto-petter"
my fellow asked me about this just 3 days ago, and i shot it down, saying if so it wont be but a matter of time before it is broken and the company would put something out.
i did say this.
Caspian went out and got one last night, and it works!
(or did)
there have been people using this for how long now? a month? 2 months?
and why wasnt it put to a stop then? why let them get a head like that and kill off the petter?
i can see so many benefits with this, even tho while in closed beta we all had talked about this, and had wished it wouldnt be so. (least the people i knew and that we had talked on it)
i have nurses in my fellowship, they work 12 hours a day. does it mean they shouldnt play, they shouldnt enjoy the roos due to working so hard?
what about students? homework, or working moms and dads?
the roos were meant for everyone to enjoy. thats why there were rares in the starter boxes, and thats why the regard was "nerfed" to begin with. it was supposed to be, you get out what you put in.
idk. but im a bit puzzled as to why now they killed the bots (even if the scripts had been done legit, there is a 2nd auto petter out, is that one any better?)
thoughts?
