Painted Nile clear eyes out of a starter pack?

What's the point of trying to breed up from common starting stock when when the market is rapidly becoming flooded with what was, a few weeks ago, 'rare'?

The majority of the so-called 'rare's can now be traced back to a starter pack rare of one sort or another.

I don't see how this can be corrected. No amount of regard should have been able to pull ultra rares from starter packs. I thought the intent was to breed deeper into generations and in COMBINATION with personal regard then pull traits out of a deep gene pool.

I certainly hope the next breedable maker takes this as a lesson learned.
