having no idea how to breed pets,,
so,,,bought a bunch of nests
one pair...,, call them A&B
gave C1 C2 C3 C4 C5 C6 C7
C1 gave C1A
C2 gave C2A
C3 gave C3A
ETC
anyway.. nothing much except..C1A that i put back with C3
first two nests,, koi giant and koi giant 14
so i was kinda thinking,,,well guessing thta the first pair, one of them had a koi gene? which passed to C1 and then C1A
when i put C3 with C1A ,, they both had a koi gene eAch so a koi..
plus the original pair throw about 95% gaints and giants 14,,and so do their offspring
so now i am mixing all the roos from the original apir and breeding back their offspring to each other and the
doing the same wiht the kois i got.
I thinking the koi roosd onky have one koi gene so need to brred there babys babys bak to them ,
maybe its more complicated
and its only the male or female who have the koi gene and so you need to breed back a male ofspring off offspring backto a female original
as the one i bred back is male thta would mean its the female of the original pair thats has the koi gene?
anyway probaly a load of total rubbish i just posted,,,but if i start getting kois from the koi offspring i will let you know
the kois have given three nest each so far but using my loigic thye would only have one koi gene and puting them with a none gene carying gene,, which i have been doing ,, doesnt give a koi..which is hasent,,
except the giant koi 14 gave a cinder the first nest
so,,,there you have it,, my theory,, but as im not a scientist etc,,,my best guess
