It's time to admit it. For the vast majority of people, Meeroos are going nowhere.

Some of you claim to be making 'advancement' without going to fresh starters. To that, all I can say is: Just wait; you're stuck, too, you just have not realized it yet, or you just don't want to openly admit it to yourself or others: you are stuck.

PLEASE don't try to tell me I'm wrong with examples of how you appear to have succeeded. Either you are wrong or you (perhaps unknowingly) have already gone back and obtained fresh starters.

Not only are we all getting nowhere, we're beginning to wonder if it's even possible to get anywhere without resorting to fresh starters.

The answer:

IT IS NOT POSSIBLE TO ADVANCE WITHOUT RESORTING TO FRESH STARTERS.

By 'fresh starters' I don't necessarily mean you have to purchase them from the company. You can borrow them inside your fellowship or from friends, or you can purchase them on the secondary market, where you can pay a huge mark-up to have them pre-sorted and pre-selected for you. But, one way or another, you MUST obtain fresh blood and, at some point, somewhere, someone has to purchase them from the company.

Not only MUST you obtain fresh blood but, to ensure you have a CHANCE (note: *ONLY* a chance) of obtaining the more-recently created traits, you MUST ensure your fresh starters have, or completely derive from, higher sequence numbers. My recommendation is to look at your family tree. If *ANY* of the starters in that tree have sequence numbers less than 400,000, give up and release the entire family tree.

I'm sure the company will disagree with this hard-and-fast rule. All that disagreement does is prove they, to, have no idea how their software works. They can wish it weren't so, but: "If wishes were horses, beggars would ride." They aint beggars: we *ALL* made sure of THAT, so those nice horses they have are not the result of wishes.

You want the game to continue? You wish starters would not give out so many good pieces to the puzzle, well:

THE SYSTEM DEPENDS UPON ALL THINGS COMING FROM STARTERS.

If starters only handed out Winecoats and Fawns, there is a vanishingly small chance of anything else appearing in the game (yes, there is one .. breeding at Generation 2: about 1 in 2.4 MILLION give or take a few hundred thousand).

If the current starter sales rate holds, and starters only handed out Winecoat and Fawn it would, on average, take SEVERAL YEARS (estimate: 4 to 8) before anything other than Winecoats or Fawns appeared from breeding. Sure, it could happen tomorrow; but it also could wait 20 to 50 YEARS to happen. Would you be willing to take that bet?

So ...

You have only two choices:

1) Start over

2) Stop altogether

That is how it's designed.
