For a newer trait or coat on the meeroos, is it the regard on the meeroo, the regard on the owner or both that effect the possiblity of receiving the special coats or traits?

Is there a set number of regard that the pets need to start receiving the new traits or coats. Example owner needs to be at least level 20 to start effecting anything and/or the meeroo needs to have at lest 5000 regard to start seeing the next level of genetics.

Knowing something like this will allow people to work to that level. Have a goal and know that something is possible after reaching that level, Not guarantee but a better chance.

As for the new traits coming in starters. Giving them as starters makes you, the creator, more money so I understand why you do it. If there is a chance to get a starter with new traits, new and original owners will go buy another chect or two. The new traits should, in my one person opinion, be for those that have placed time to breed generations for the traits and coats. Doing that you support the people that have been with the program from the beginning. Long time meeroos supporters. You will survive longer rewarding owners that have been with you. You have to offer a way for owners to see the light at the end of the tunnel to keep people interested for longer periods of time.
