I know that breeding within your fellowship is possible but I seem to be having some issues and maybe the lovely people here can help me.
I have a friend whose 'roos are on my parcel and she had 3 males. I had tried 3 times to put one of my females with on her stump so that she could maybe get a female nest. All 'roos were in fellowship, compatible and not related in any way. 10 hours later there was no nest any of the three times I tried.
Yesterday, she gave me one of her males and I put him on my stump with my in season female, poof a baby.
Now, my question is, I thought you were able to put your 'roos on another persons stump and have them breed if that person was in your fellowship? Did I read this incorrectly (wherever it was that I read it)? Do the 'roos have to be sent to the other person for breeding?
Thank you for any replies.
