today i made the mistake of jumping the gun and separating a breeding pair because one was in season while the other was to soon. Maybe 8 hours later the other was ready and I was kicking myself because both have produced great nests in the past independently and I wanted to do some experimentation - silly me for being impatient.
my suggestion although probably discussed already is that there be a count down of sorts to let the player know a ball park figure as to when a 'roo will go into season again.
If we're expected to keep track, thats fine to but I really wish at that moment I had an idea as I didnt think to check the stats and trace when their last nest was dropped and do the math from there.
I'm curious what other breeders are doing to keep track of the cycles? Is it as simple as seeing when the last nest was dropped and then counting 5 days before the next season starts? Or something a little more tricky?
