Meeroos Breeding Guide: Sync Your Roos & Pair Them Up – By Kyle Ozigard

After many requests from friends and others new to Meeroos, I have decided to put together this guide to help you match up your Meeroos and Sync them to breed at the same time.

The first part is simple, personalities that go with one another. This is what dictates if two Meeroos are compatible and will breed together.

Shy: Shy, Aggressive, Friendly
Friendly: Shy, Friendly, Lazy
Lazy: Lazy, Friendly, Mischievous
Mischievous: Mischievous, Lazy, Aggressive
Aggressive: Aggressive, Shy, Mischievous

::Exceptions:: Meeroos will not breed with their siblings or parents. (even if 1 parent is the same no good)

Now that you have them paired up properly, the question becomes, “When will they breed”, which is determined by the season the Meeroo is on.

Once again, this is determined by personality. All Meeroos grid wide will be on the same season based on their personality, meaning every lazy on the grid will be on season fall at the same time. Every Shy will be on season rise at the same time.

This is very predictable, and can be demonstrated in the chart below:

2 Days = Lazy
1 day = Mischevious
Rise = Aggressive
Peak = Shy
Fall = Friendly

The seasons change every day at 9pm SL time. So the next day will look like:

2 Days = Friendly
1 day = Lazy
Rise = Mischevious
Peak = Aggressive
Fall = Shy

Its rather simple, and by using this chart, by only knowing 1 Meeroos current season and personality, you should be able to determine every Meeroos season based on their personality.

Breeding:

Meeroos will be ready to breed once they are age 5. At this point, they enter their seasons. The season will be listed as mentioned earlier: 2 days, 1 day, rise, peak, and fall.

Both Meeroos must be between Rise Peak and Fall to have babies. Two falls will have a baby just as often as two peak Meeroos.

For example:

2 Days = Friendly
1 day = Lazy
Rise = Mischevious
Peak = Aggressive
Fall = Shy

In the above situation, all Mischevious, Aggressive, and Shy Meeroos are ready to breed together. (Mind you, they must match up like in the chart at the top of this guide.

Once the Meeroos are on the same season, they must also share the same stump. You will see your two Meeroos names side by side, with a heart dividing them. If the sim is not ultra laggy, and they are both in season and pair up, they will go ahead and breed typically within an hour or so of staring at each other and making you wait. ;p.

::Things to know::
1. Meeroos that are set to fellowship mode will only breed with other Meeroos set to fellowship mode. This can be used to divide breeding pairs by setting two to fellowship and leaving two without fellowship mode.
2. The male Meeroo makes the nest, and as such the owner of the male Meeroo owns the nest (in the instance that you’re sharing Meeroos on fellowship mode.)
3. Your stump does NOT need to be on fellowship mode unless you’re sharing the stump with others in your fellowship.
4. After your Meeroo has made a baby, it will need 5 days to return to the cycles listed above.
