In the open beta forums, there were a few threads running regarding the cost of the premium area, and I had stated that I *really* hoped the amount would be known before the Meeroos go public.

From the sounds of what I have read in the handbook, and please correct me if I am wrong, the premiums areas are going to be free for a little while and then a nominal fee will be charged (I am not in world right now, so I can't copy and paste the manual.) That is great that we are getting it free for awhile. HOWEVER (and this is huge in my mind,) knowing the cost ahead of time is still massively important. If its out of reach for some folks, they may never venture to the premium area, so they "don't know what they are missing." If someone is sitting on the fence, they may try to see if its worth the cost, but again, the cost needs to be known.

We all bring in our previous breedable experience to this Meeroo table. One of the things that stands out for me is a breedable that went public this year that has a "premium section" to their website, they didn't have a cost available at launch and it caused many, MANY, MANY arguments in chat as to why this wasn't known at launch. It cast aspersions on the company for not being prepared. Mind you, just about EVERYTHING went smoothly for their launch, but this one little issue became huge.

The other aspect that hasn't been discussed is how we will be paying for the premium area, should we choose to do so. It would be great to hear dev comments on this as well.
