my Meeroo Plushie and Me!
A while back, every CSR was asked .. “If you were a Meeroo.. what would you look like? What would you wear? No, not existing coats and things, but if you could be ANYTHING as a Meeroo, what would it be??” And man.. did they get creative!! Sailors, Cowboys, Magicians, Gardeners, and more! And once we got going, the Creative team got in on it, too, coming up with amazing little Meeroo self portraits, if you will.
Now, you've all talked to a Staff member at some point or another. Whether it's because they came to help you fix an issue with a home, get one of your Meeroos back, or just in the general chat joking around with the Creative team. We truly love and appreciate all the fantastic feedback the community's given us - from adoring the items we work tirelessly on getting out, the updates, and the new 'Roos ... to our favorites, when you swoon and brag about how amazing our CSR's are in quickly dealing with your issues when SL's being mean!
Well, we thought it would be fun to give the Staff something to give back to YOU in thanks, as well as recognize them for all their hard work and give them something truly unique and special. So, this is what we did.. we took all those wonderful ideas for their “personalized Meeroos” and made them into one of a kind stuffed animals! And now that we've given them to the Staff.. it's up to you to see if you know Who's who!
Announcing: The Meeroos Staff Mix & Match Contest!!
Come to Roo sim and check out all the Plusies on display in the Center landing area of the sim. Then, click on the “Meeroo Staff Mix & Match Contest” Sign to get a Notecard that lists all the Meeroo Staff names. It's up to you to use what you know from talking to the staff, having them help you, joking around in chats, and what have you .. to figure out which plushie belongs to which staff member!
Once you have your notecard filled out with your guesses, return to the Center area of Roo sim and put it in the Mailbox there (Bengal Mailbox between the Regard Item and Food Arches). We'll announce the winner when the first person gets then ALL right, and post a “Who's who” list of the Staff & their plushies here on the blogs. What will you win? It's a surprise, silly. You'll just have to enter and see!
After that, the real challenge begins...
How would you like to have one of these special Plushie Roos yourself? Here's how it'll happen. Every Staff member has their special plusies that matches them, and can hand them out to you. BUT .. you have to earn it!! Will you enter a contest, do a puzzle, have a item hunt on the sim? Will you have to be impressive with Meeroo knowledge in the chat, have to schmooze or come up with great jokes, have to be extra helpful to the other members of the WWoM community?? Maybe all of that, and more!! EVERY staff member will be able to decide WHO they give their Plushie to, how you earn them, and how often they give them out. Some might be much harder to get than others because it all depends on the person giving them away! Can you Win and Wile your way into having them all? I guess we'll have to see!
Come to Roo today, check out the Plushies on display in the center landing spot of the sim, take a good close look at the amazing costumes and pretty patterns, and see if you've got the skills to know Who's who!
