I wonder how much the meeroo´s regard points influence your breeding results?
I love those meeroos and I want them to be on my home sim where they are. Of course I cant get as many regard points by petting them there as other meeroos get being on fellowship land. My own regard level is pretty good but I start to wonder if I have a chance to breed special coats etc. or if it is necessary to put them on fellowship land with more ppl petting them to achieve better breeding results?

I was wondering this yesterday. Is there an official name for a collective group of meeroos? Flock, pack, herd, clan, family? What do you think?

Maybe someone can explain the above to me? I saw a male koi at the board... and its a starter.

To me, this is in directly a way to manipulate the market, by throwing something in that suddenly everyone can get, while before that it was rare and valuable.
I seen this happening before but the other way around (with horses & albino eyes)..
Please can someone tell me this Koi is a "glitch"and shouldnt have been there?
or is next amber and highland as starter??

familybreeding

Hi,

i just posted the same question at the german forum - but please inforum me/us also in english:

I heard it is not possible to breed siblings together - which is ok; then i was told it´s not possible to breed (e.g.) father-daughter.

i was also told that we can´t breed halth-siblings.

so - my question is, how big has a family to be, that we can breed?

i mean, the next logical step would be that we can´t breed grandma with grandson... neither cousins, nor great-grandmother and so on.

Ok a question. Is the sounds the meeroos make created specially for them? or where they found elsewhere? I ask this because my friend bought something called a wobee from SL exchange, and when you poke it.. or kiss it.. the sounds that come from it, sound just like a meeroo.

So we are trying to see if this is something that needs to be reported for copyright... or is the meeroo sound not unique. If anyone can answer my question please do. Thank you.

I am getting more and more frustated that we are left completely in the blind regarding the genetics/methods of breeding the meeroos.
every day, it seems more to me that all is just random;
- I seen a convo where catherine writes that high regard MIGHT give higher chance to rare traits, same time, she writes, that a low regarded meeroo or player can just as well get those rare traits.
While somewhere else is written that it does effect breeding. Or, no..must say "might effect". cause everthing that is written has "eventual"or "possibly"in it.
Breeding two red gaels together give a pine..

Unfortunately no one could answer my question in the group.

is the result of mating a pair of meerus completely based on random or how high is the influence of parental attributes?

Can someone from the team, do a clear statement?

If its 100% random, which attributes a breeded Meeroo has, its useless to buy expensive meeroos with special traits.

Will the parental influence grow with generations?

Or does everything result in mass-breeding and luck.
