Chiiirp! Birrrt! Purrrrrrrr!

I see that we can no longer view the Meeroos being raised by others. I would like that to come back. Although I realize that it brought out some dirty laundry. It helped to keep the game transparent and honest. I can only assume that those that pushed to close the view were those with the dirty laundry. Shame on you.

I haven't been able to keep up with this forum over the past few days, but in the reading I have been able to do I've noticed people mentioning something about meeroo regard catching up to personal regard being some sort of "key" in breeding. Would anyone be kind enough to explain the origin of this newest theory to me, and/or point me to the relevant information?

Why does a Generation 2 Roo mating with a Generation 4 Roo give you only a Generation 3 baby? Why is it not considered Generation 5?

And does this affect the outcome of the baby's traits by mixing older and newer generations (ie. withholding some because one parent is a younger generation)?

Thanks!
Dolci

I want to preface this that I'm not continueing a rumor because I'm bringing it directly to you:

I was told today that the reason people werent really seeing traited roos in the last year, wasnt generations or any of that, it was because no one turned on the *bulk* (I say bulk because obviously some traits were around) of the traits until last week.

Consider this post me taking it directly to the powers that be, for them to reply yae or nae. I'm not bashing roos, roo people, roo breeders, the game. I'd just like to hear from the staff that this, isnt true.

CSR Time Out

I want to preface this by saying I have found the customer service I have received from the Meeroos staff to be amazing. My questions have been answered, problems solved, etc. all within a timely manner.

I am ready to toss all of my meeroos out the porthole and call it done right now. I HATE these stumps. They spam me, they have inadequate hovertext for the eight meeroos they can hold, they hide my treasures. Sometimes it its damned near impossible to get a meeroo to home on the stump i WANT it on sometimes (requiring taking and setting it down a few times) - even when they are far apart. The fact that i cant simply put two together and pair them to each other, without having to have dozens of stumps is a complete @#$% - even MORE complete when the spam comes into the picture.

If, like me, you have no restraint and find yourself with a whole herd of meeroos, you now know that you need to pet them a whole bunch so that their regard can catch up with your own and they will hopefully be able to reach back into their genetic lineage and produce more interesting babies.

Here's a few tips I've learned along the way. Please feel free to add your own!

  1. Keep your stumps far enough apart and the range low enough so the meeroos are clearly divided.

Every time I go here, it asks me repeatedly and I mean like ever 2-3 minutes if I want my windlight settings changed. I find this VERY excessive and a nuisance. No, I don't want my WL settings changed and telling it NO (ignore) once should be sufficient for it to, pardon my language, STFU!! But, it simply keeps asking and asking until I basically want to destroy everything in Godzilla fashion. Can we please set it to NOT spam people repeatedly? I really don't want to see things all greenish and hazy. Normal is just fine, really! I don't need "magical flair".

"to soon" timing

today i made the mistake of jumping the gun and separating a breeding pair because one was in season while the other was to soon. Maybe 8 hours later the other was ready and I was kicking myself because both have produced great nests in the past independently and I wanted to do some experimentation - silly me for being impatient.

my suggestion although probably discussed already is that there be a count down of sorts to let the player know a ball park figure as to when a 'roo will go into season again.
