Hello my wonderful Meeroo family

The past few days have been a very trying time, but it has also given me an insight into just how increible and utterly amazing this community is.

For six years I have known and been friends with Mehgan Southmoor. Many of you will remember her as one of the amazing CSRs that worked for the meeroos. She was kind to all of us, with a quirky sense of humor, generous, always willing to go the extra mile for us

So I have 5 kittens irl, they are now 9 weeks old. Whenever I'm playing SL, I have my speakers on, and most of my time is spent where my meeroos are, so you can always hear them chirping. One of the kittens, Zorro, has been doing this really cute noise, and last night my boyfriend heard it. He was all it sounds like one of your meeroos! (he doesn't play SL) and you know what? It sounds EXACTLY like the meeroos chirp. We figure that he's been hearing it for the past 9 weeks of his life, that he somehow picked up the sound and now does it himself.

So I was recently thinking about this, and I wondered, what others feel is lacking in the secondary markets and auction places? What do you feel should change or should be added, or in general. I'm not asking for slander of certain places because each one has their own following and this is not meant to cause "grief" or to retaliate against others. But I want to know what would make a better market? What general flaws do you see? Or what really bugs you about some of your experiences? Please, do not post names of specific places.

At Melita's suggestion, I have made a group on Flickr; The Meeroo Preservation Society, so that we all have somewhere to share our meeroo related pics.

Please join, and share pics of some of your favourite roos, and new coats/traits you have discovered.

Would love it if all those who entered the Halloween Picture Comp uploaded their entry there too, so we can get as many as possible in one place.

Not sure if this is where to ask... But I went to Roo to see the photos of the Halloween constest and it's taking FOREVER for them to rez on my slow laptop. Is there a post or place here that has them all so that we can see them better out of SL?

I just got started on the Meeroo craze and started my own group in SL --- "Magical Meeroo Madness"... open enrollment. Just looking for like-minded Meeroo fanatics to join it so it's not so empty at 2 people.

been searching on and off for the better part of the day for fairly priced rentals that allow breedables ... the few i find that do seem to allow it want them not animated at all. which removes most of the fun for me ...

what are some names that you know of that rent out parcels around 20xx size ... that is not outrageously priced.

Is there a way of finding a list of collectables and a list showing what roos are connected to certain collectables?
