I didn't know how best to announce this but didn't want to hijack Maxx's thread on his Snowpaw so started my own.

Well, finally I have made my way into what I consider "rare" meeroo coats.

Can happily say I've finally bred out my own cinder and notched ears from scratch... Its been a bumpy ride... But I am happy with what I produced so far.

I havent been one to buy the rare roo's to try to catch up.. But since things are a bit slow for the secondary market I was able to land two kois and an emp for a great price.

Finally after 8 weeks and 20 hours of breeding, I managed to make this. The first of my personal goals...

Total Surprise. My face went :O this am, believe me. As you can see by some of the pairings, I am working that bunch on traits, not coats, so it was out of the blue.

I wonder if pure Troo will be worth big money at the auctions? Or should I just breed it in to my herd?

I only have one Zulu that I bought at auction. I have a Snowpaw, Azure, Kabuki, Koi and Emperor. Which one would you mate the Zulu with?

Anyone try this mating?

I just can't afford to buy another Zulu tho I may try to find an OS.

I'm going crazy. my nests (about 6ish pairs) are dropping males. Okay, some are female, but the male nests are WAY better.

I bought 4 dryads. All males. One was a short tail!

I finally got something other than wine! I got a autumn on my own. After that a sierra. Had sierras before but nice not to get another wine again after a great nest like the autumn. (great for me)

All nests since and after that are males! sigh.

So, I think I have Magical Emperors.

So far, first nest they gave me a Kabuki and now..5 days later...their second nest was an Azure.

Didn't know if anyone would be interested in checking out the genes. :)
