Koi with Fluff & Chest, Short upright ears, very short tail and Cobalt clear eyes.

I've been breeding for 2 months trying to get the FC, SUE & VS on a single meeroo. When I saw this today I was far more excited than I was when I got my first fancy coat :)

Think pairing it with a DIRECT Western OS, would be a smart move? Could really use some input on this one!!

So I read somewhere in the forum that mating the lower coat os of higher coat roos can help you reach even higher coats. So far I've only been able to actually breed out emperors in the masked line but today I logged on to this nest.

I know its not like a super roo lol but I'm excited and glad that I tried that little tip that someone gave. So thank you to whoever it was who pointed that out. Now I have to find something to breed it with o.0

...No, just kidding, they are good roos, but they like to run with the wrong crowd! Lol

Specifically, I can't get them to mate with their intended - they all want to see how the other half lives!

The problem?

Kendra mated with Ponyboy - and had a normal winecoat. Now they are both at 45%.

I know I seen this somewhere in the forums, but heck if I can find it. I Seen someone and I have heard in the grid, that the secret is in your tome and how the coats go in order? I just wanted to test this theory out. I did find a thread where someone was nice enough to share there discovered coats, all of them. So what's the secret? Example: Taking a certain coat putting it with another is going to give you? Or is it taking a fawn mating it with a koi, and it gives you a painted? Any insight would be greatly appreciated.

Not sure if I need a hug or a kick in the pants, but I am hoping someone can help me. The problem COATS - I just dont seem to have the knack of how to "progress". I just dont get it... I have gotten a couple of surprise nests - jubilee and a western, but other than those I appear to be all about traits. I finally bought a bunch of loch, koi, ambers, etc now that the market has gone soft.
