Thanks so much for the prompt ticket resolution by Masquerade Ball! I had my three missing meeroos back within a couple of hours. It's great to see a ticket system working so well!

I just had a talk with someone wondering if Meeroos set on Insane were causing lag. (My opinion: possible, but not likely.) So I thought I'd put together a note about what Time Dilation is and what Players, Creators, Area Designers, Script Authors, and Estate Owners and Managers can do to find it and fight it.

So, what is Time Dilation?

To understand Time Dilation, we need to understand a bit about how the Simulator program works.

My roos just went on a digging spree and found me a bunch of halloween treasures, it was sooo cute. I had no idea what was going on when I saw the first one, thought maybe it was something I was missing from my TOME, but then they kept coming and I realized they were special treasures for halloween.

Thanks MS, you just keep making this game better and better and more and more fun. :D

A few days ago I estimated that the current phase of reduction in Meeroo Population would end on October 31st. That prediction was made on the 8th based upon data then available.

On October 6th, Catherine announced Special Content for Halloween. On the 8th that content was released.

I went searching for a snowpaw...saw one at 1800 at Purrfect..8 hours. I came back in 8 hours. It was 3000, so at the last minute i bid 3100. Just as i bid it went back to seconds. Around 38 seconds left rental expired and froze. I told the lady i won, but not fair. But there was no other bidders around. She said that was fine...tp her. When she gets there i tell her this is great cuz i spotted a male for 3000 in another bid box. And if it goes too high, i saw a regular sale at 3750. So then she tells me that because the rental expired she'll sell hers to me for 3750.

I went to get me some paint for my Loch and was hopping up and down because there also were new homes available.

The homes:
I absolutely love them. They are not only seasonal, they are to use at any time and I suggest to think over some new homes like this, if you are not going to let them be bought out of season.
My favourite is the pumpkin, which is not cheesy, not halloween-like. It is natural and fits.
