Before I say anything else, I'd like to extend our most sincere gratitude to you, the community that has developed around the Meeroos, for your thoughtful words, your gracious assistance with other members just finding us, but most of all, for your enduring patience.
We have been working tirelessly to craft an experience that is unlike any other. From the inception of Meeroos, we knew that we wanted to create an entirely unique, fun, creative and social adventure.
A tremendous amount of work has gone into this production. Our journey began quite a long time ago, so you can be certain that the team at Malavey Studios shares your enthusiasm and anticipation for their release. I still find it staggering how much has been accomplished by a very small team of individuals. When I see the progress that is being made each day, I am infinitely proud of these remarkable people and so privileged to work by their side to bring the Meeroos to fruition.
Our goals were very clear from the onset: To create an creature unlike anything we'd seen before; To engage the community beyond the traditional process of putting two breedables together and then stepping away to await a third for upwards of a week; And finally, to think well into the future to ensure sustainability and longevity of the Meeroos. We wanted our community to be consistently engaged, immersed and entertained by the unique world we were crafting.
Our priority is, of course, you. Your feedback is incredibly valuable to us! Upon our preview a few weeks ago, many of you wrote with comments and suggestions. While some suggestions may not fit into our roadmap or be technologically practical, we do listen, and we do consider everything you say.
Developing Meeroos, which I consider an experience more equivalent to a Facebook application than a breedable, has been an extraordinary experience. In the near future, I look forward to sharing it with you.
